1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Guardian Angel, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Guardian Angel is an AI-powered safety companion that helps people of every age recognize manipulation, fraud, coercion, and online risks through guided conversation. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, legal advice, or emergency services. In any emergency, call 911 (or the equivalent for your country).

3. Eligible Accounts

• Parent or guardian accounts — you must be 18 or older. You are responsible for creating and managing the profile of any minor (age 5–17) in your care, including setting their trusted-adult network.
• Individual adult accounts — you must be 18 or older to create an account for yourself. Your content is your own; no parent dashboard is attached.
• Caregiver accounts — you must be 18 or older, and you must be invited by the older adult whose account you will have limited visibility into.
• Minor accounts — a minor cannot create their own account. Minor profiles are created and consented to by a verified parent or guardian.

4. Parent and Guardian Responsibilities

• Manage your child's profile and trusted-adult network.
• Review safety alerts and dashboard notifications regularly.
• Understand that Guardian Angel supplements, but does not replace, parental supervision.

5. Caregiver Responsibilities

Caregivers act only on the limited safety signals the older adult has chosen to share. Caregivers must not use the product to override, pressure, or coerce the older adult they support. Abuse of caregiver access is grounds for immediate account termination.

6. Safety Limitations

Guardian Angel uses multi-layer safety classification to detect concerning patterns, but no AI system is perfect. We cannot guarantee detection of all risks. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact law enforcement or the appropriate crisis hotline directly. 7. Billing and Subscriptions

Guardian Angel is free for every minor profile. Individual adult accounts and parent companion accounts are paid subscriptions after a 14-day free trial. You may cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not store payment card numbers; billing is processed by Stripe.

8. Acceptable Use

Do not attempt to misuse the product: no scraping, no attempts to exfiltrate other users' data, no impersonation of a minor you are not a guardian of, no using the service to facilitate harm. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon deletion, all associated data (profiles, conversations, safety events, caregiver links) is permanently removed. We may also terminate or suspend accounts for violations of these Terms or for safety reasons.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and in the product. Continued use of Guardian Angel after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
